CISCA (Ceilings and Interior Systems Construction Association) along with Interior Construction magazine, have awarded Fine Painting the Construction Excellence Award for Acoustical Solutions.
Fine Painting was given the daunting task of providing the Acoustical Installation for Jazz at Lincoln Center. This project presented numerous unique acoustical challenges. "Aside from the usual logistics of project construction, manpower, scheduling, etc., Fine Painting and Decorating was presented with many technical obstacles."
From a 54' high glass wall, scrim walls covered in fabric that maintain their acoustical transparency while preventing wall-leaning patrons from falling through, to leaking floodwater after the initial installation - Fine Painting rose to the challenge!
The project was still completed in time with a fantastic acoustical solution.
